Bruce Larsen is an American sculptor. He received a BFA from Auburn University in 1985. After a career in animatronics spanning more than 50 films he began to pursue fine art in 1998. His sculptures are known for emphasizing movement, anatomy and environmental awareness. The materials he uses are often sourced from a landfill or cleaned up from a public space. The United States Sports Academy has described Larsen's work as Repo-Renaissance, defined as classical sculpture made from recycled materials. Larsen lives and works from his home in Fairhope Alabama.
